Linus Karp is an actor, writer, and the co-founder of Awkward Productions. A compelling performer, he’s equally at home in outrageous comedy as he is contemporary drama. Linus is known for his bold, queer storytelling, often playing with gender stereotypes, and using his signature deadpan comedic delivery.

At Awkward Productions, Linus writes, directs and stars in projects that break conventions by blending his acting talent with unique storytelling that is both genre-mixing and modern. They have developed a reputation for creating high-camp theatrical satires that blend bold pop culture commentary with queer celebration.

Their new show, “The Fit Prince” was announced in Variety and is set to continue their signature style of interactive, fourth-wall-breaking theater. The company’s previous hit “Gwyneth Goes Skiing” sold out its 2024 Edinburgh Fringe run and its U.S. tour in 2025, while “Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story” has di-lighted audiences worldwide following its Off-Fest Award for best play at the Fringe in 2023. Leland, Darren Criss, Trixie Mattel and Cat Cohen have all been featured in work created by Linus.

Linus also performs comedy improv, and has an ongoing relationship modeling with Balenciaga.
