Sam is a company director and senior talent agent at InterTalent Rights Group, where he represents a diverse and exciting list of theatre, television & film actors. He also leads the Creatives Division, representing successful directors, choreographers, composers, designers, illusionists and casting directors within the theatre industry.

With a First-Class BA in History from the University of Leeds, Sam balanced academic success with a passion for theatre — directing, producing, and performing in musicals throughout his school and university years, and serving as elected performing arts representative on the university union council.

He began his career in the entertainment industry as a floor runner on ITV’s Coronation Street, before moving into television casting under Faye Styring at Emmerdale. Sam was later casting assistant for James Orange, working on musical theatre productions including An American in Paris and Strictly Ballroom.

Sam transitioned into talent representation as an assistant to Bronia Buchanan at BBA Management, and later joined Cole Kitchenn in 2016 to assist Oliver Thomson. In 2018, the agency and its sister companies rebranded as InterTalent, and Sam was made Creatives Agent. He slowly expanded the roster to include a select list of actors. Sam was appointed Company Director in 2024.
